A traditional sash stop, the acorn sash with chain. The sash stop is fitted to the side style of the top sash window, when the acorn is screwed into its plate it will act as a sash stop, without the need for a key, preventing the bottom sash from passing the top sash, the chain when screwed to the top of the bottom sash will allow the sashes to be secured open for ventilation.
