The original window restrictor, the weekes sash stop is fitted to the side style of the top sash window, when the weekes sash stop is in the closed position the bottom sash will be able to pass the top sash, when the stop is opened and the plate drops behind the stop this will prevent the windows from passing each other any further than the position of the sash stop, if the weekes sash stop is fitted approximately 10cm above the meeting rail you will be able to keep the bottom sash window open for ventilation but the bottom sash will not be able to rise any further than the position of the sash stop, also available with radius ends (THD193).
